Contact lens technology has really progressed over the last 60 years. There are contact lens designs now available for all types of vision needs. Dr Rebecca Ng specializes in contact fittings for astigmatism, multifocals for presbyopia, dry eye patients, and keratoconus patients. She is considered an expert in the field of hard or gas permeable lense fittings. The Eye Center carries a multitude of trial lenses for expert diagnostic fittings. Some brand names include Ciba, Vistakon, Coopervision, Bausch and Lomb and Synergeyes. Please call our office to make an appointment for a contact lens evaluation.
CONTACT LENS SERVICES
The Eye Center of Orange County offers a large selection of contact lenses that are available for every type of eye shape and condition. Utilizing our high tech equipment, our staff will accurately determine what type of lens and wearing mode that is best for you.
We strive for perfection in vision and fit. Therefore, you may require many visits, depending on your needs and expectations.
Contact Lens Services and Fees:
There are four levels of contact lens fittings based on the complexity of lens design and each level has a different fee. A CL fitting includes dispensing, initial care kit, training and follow-up visits for two months. Contact lens material fees are separate from the fitting fee.
Basic fit - Spherical soft lenses on a daily wear basis. ($150)
Advanced fit - Includes extended wear, toric and presbyopic lenses including monovision and rigid gas permeable lenses. ($250)
Keratoconus or post-surgical fit – These are therapeutic soft or hard lenses. ($350)
Orthokeratology or Corneal Refractive Therapy ($1500)
A comprehensive eye exam by a doctor in our practice is always required before a contact lens fitting (within six months). The eye exam is a separate fee.
